Based in (but not limited to) LA, 
Jazmine Myleigh (my-lee) Martinez
creates and contributes to work
that is meaningful, intentional, and dynamic.

With the last name of a hispanic “Martinez” 
but raised by a Filipino single mother,
grew up in a suburban town, 
but in a low-income household-

A first-generation graduate, 
but spent two years in a small community college 
and two years at a University
attaining a BFA, not an MFA (like many of her peers)- 

Studied film, but from an initial love 
of literature, journalism, fine art and fashion
and works production positions well, 
from logistic coordinations to creative development-

And finally, 

Understands the nuance in storytelling, aims to explore
the many shades and dynamics of people
in a form that is truthful and fresh.
An unconventional path,
but a valuable one.
